What is kurna ?

A marble or stone basin made underneath the taps in baths to combine cold and hot water and to gather and use it little by little with a bowl is referred to as a “kurna”.

The phrase Kurna is among the many phrases that we regularly encounter in our language.

The Qurna has handed from the Arabic language to our Turkish. In response to TDK, the phrase kurna means:

– A spherical, marble, stone or plastic vessel underneath the tap in baths and baths, through which water is collected.


The price for bathing within the hammam is referred to as the “proper to Kurna”.
