Mohammed Abdiker, Regional Director of the Worldwide Group for Migration (IOM) East Africa and the Horn of Africa, mentioned in an announcement on Twitter that no less than 20 of the 80 migrants thrown from a smuggling boat to Yemen died on the Obock coast of Djibouti.

Reminding that 1000’s of younger Africans are attempting to cross over to Yemen to achieve the Gulf nations, Abdiker acknowledged that that is the third related tragedy in the final 6 months and that greater than 70 folks have misplaced their lives up to now.
Fearing the safety guards, human smugglers typically throw immigrants on the boat into the sea to flee.
