In Norrland, Sweden, a Muslim woman in the municipality’s aged residence was discriminated towards due to her scarf.
The woman was advised to work with out a scarf, in any other case she would be fired.

It was awarded till the dismissal of the woman was stopped and the municipality paid about 70,000 crowns in compensation.
