The US Lawyer Common’s Workplace of the State of Illinois introduced that in 1997 451 children were sexually abused by Catholic clergy. Within the investigation report, the names of 451 clergy were introduced.

Between 1950 and 2019, it was revealed that 1,997 children and 451 Catholic clergy were sexually abused within the state of Illinois, USA.
State of Illinois Lawyer Common of the USA made an announcement in regards to the horrible incident.
State Lawyer Common Kwame Raoul stated:
“Greater than 600 secret contacts were made”
My prosecutors and investigators have reviewed greater than 100,000 pages of paperwork held by dioceses and hundreds of episcopal information. They’ve spent numerous hours interviewing and interviewing the diocese administration and its representatives. And over the course of this investigation, greater than 600 clandestine contacts were made out of survivors by emails, letters, voicemails, interviews and cellphone calls with my workplace.
“They’ll by no means see justice within the authorized sense”
Lawyer Common Raoul burdened that 451 clergy have supplied their names and detailed data within the investigation report. “Many years of Catholic authorities selections and insurance policies have typically allowed recognized baby sexual abusers to cover from view. Many survivors of baby sexual abuse by Catholic clergy won’t ever obtain authorized justice as a result of the statute of limitations typically happens.”
