Russian Overseas Minister Sergey Lavrov went to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to carry official talks.
Lavrov and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, UAE Minister for Overseas Affairs and Worldwide Cooperation, held a joint press convention in Abu Dhabi.
Minister Lavrov touched upon the attainable new nuclear settlement between Iran and the United States at the assembly.
In his statements, Lavrov expressed that Russia applauded US President Joe Biden’s willingness to return to the settlement with which former US President Donald Trump withdrew, regardless of the signing of it in 2015.
“THE AGREEMENT NEEDS TO BE HANDLED DIFFERENTLY”
Pertaining to Iran’s nuclear missile program and regional actions, Lavrov identified that there are voices rising in the discussions that these actions should be stopped, and stated:
“The deal with Iran must be dealt with in a different way. We should not embody other issues and parts in the deal, regardless of how necessary.”
He additionally emphasised that the Bashar Assad regime in Syria should be included in the Arab League once more.
“USA CAESAR’S LAW IS IMPLEMENTING”
Mekidasi Zayed, on the other hand, said that the USA utilized the ‘Caesar legislation’ and the embargoes imposed on the Assad regime made the problem difficult.
“SYRIA MUST RETURN TO THE LEAGUE”
Zayed said that Syria should return to the League.
He said that that is in the curiosity of each Syria and other nations in the area.
UAE AND RUSSIA STRATEGIC PARTNER
Referring to the Russia-UAE bilateral relations, Zayed emphasised that Russia is the strategic associate of the UAE.
