Developed in collaboration with Facebook and RED, Manifold uses RED’s advanced camera sensors and provides full hardware for professionals thanks to its advanced technology.
Social media giant Facebook and world-famous professional camera company RED introduced Manifold, their new 3D VR camera jointly developed after a long wait. Manifold, which özgü a spherical design, uses 16 RED Helium 8K sensors to create 60fps VR video with high depth information.
Manifold is an extremely easy to control 360 degree camera. Control and storage units continue to work successfully even if they are 100 meters away from the device. Manifold also offers over 1 hour of recording time, ensuring that professionals never get halfway through their shots.
It is possible to control the Manifold via a web browser on your device, but editors will still have to use tools like Adobe, Foundry, and OTOY. There is also a developer kit on the device to support third party trading tools. The only bad thing about the Manifold is its price. Although it is not clear yet, the device is expected to go on sale at a price that can be considered expensive even for professionals.
