Definition of Mother and Father Changes to ‘Parent 1’ and ‘Parent 2’ in France

The General Assembly of the French Parliament is preparing to put into effect an application that will be discussed in the new period.
The French parliament özgü made a very interesting decision to protect the rights of same-sex couples. Accordingly, the forms distributed in schools will now write ‘parent 1’ and ‘parent 2’ instead of the terms mother and father.

This process, which started with forms in schools in the new period, will continue with the use of terms that do not specify gender throughout the country. It was stated that these steps taken towards heterosexual couples and homosexual couples to have spouse rights and to live more comfortably in the society aimed to provide family diversity and social equality.

However, this development was met with great reaction from conservative members of parliament. It was stated that 95% of the society is heterosexual and this law empties the traditional concept of family.
