Turkish coffee has an important place in our culture and it has a place in almost every home. We present the coffee mixture, which takes its place in personal care as well as drinking, with the recipe of Biologist-Cosmetologist Pervin Bulgak:
Materials:
– Coffee or coffee grounds
Extra virgin olive oil
Coffee grounds can be obtained from stale coffee or can be grounds remaining at the bottom of the coffee you drink. The thing to note here is that the coffee must be made without sugar.
Application:
Mix 1 teaspoon of coffee with extra virgin olive oil. Apply the mixture you have obtained to your nose, forehead and chin area with soft, circular touches starting from the nose edges. After waiting for 2 minutes on your face, rinse with cold water.
If your skin is normal or oily, apply this mixture once a week, if dry, every 15 days.
The benefit of this mixture is of course due to the positive effects of the materials we use on the skin. The caffeine in coffee speeds up circulation and is also a powerful antioxidant. With this feature, it expels harmful fluids accumulated in the body. Extra virgin olive oil is rich in minerals and vitamins. Since it is an oil very close to the skin, it is quickly absorbed by the skin.
The issues you should pay attention to are;
– As in any such application, if you have any allergies to the materials used, you should not apply that peeling.
– Skin with acne and pimples and skin with cold sores and open wounds should not apply peeling.
