The world’s largest ship, Sumitomo Heavy Industries Ltd. Produces as one of the giant Battilus class carriers in Japan Sea giant Named oil tanker. (Formerly called Knock Nevis, Jawhar Viking, and Happy Giant.)

The ship used from 1979 to 2009 was scrapped in India. The Giant at Sea was damaged and sank in the Strait of Hormuz during an airstrike during the Iran-Iraq War on May 14, 1988, but was later recovered, repaired and restored.

Seawise Giant had a total length of 458.45 meters, a gross payload of 260.851 tons and a capacity of 564.763 dwt. Its top speed was 16 knots (30 km / h).
