Moldovagaz President Vadim Ceban evaluated the pure gas state of affairs in Moldova.
Stating that they will not be able to cowl the bills associated to the acquisition, cargo and distribution of pure gas, Çeban predicted that Moldovagaz will have a deficit of roughly 14 million 800 thousand {dollars} in August.
“We will positively not be able to pay the advance for August”
Because of this, Çeban informed Gazprom that they’d not be able to pay for gas in August. “We will shut the month of July. However we will positively not be able to pay the advance for August.” stated.
Çeban said that they requested a delay in cost from Gazprom, however they did not obtain a response in this regard.
An settlement was reached between Gazprom and Moldovagaz on a five-year extension of the settlement for the cargo of Russian gas to Moldova in 2021.
