Based on the Jamarannews information web site, which is thought for Iran’s proximity to the reformist wing, the 6.1 magnitude earthquake, the epicenter of which is positioned in the Hemir Port in the Hormuzgan province and the Persian Gulf and the neighborhood of Hormuzgan, was recorded at 02:02 native time.
It was said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers from the bottom.

It was reported that a couple of minutes after the primary earthquake, one other aftershock with a magnitude of 4.6 occurred.
The earthquake was additionally felt in town of Bandar Abbas, the executive heart of the Hormuzgan province, and the folks took to the streets.
