The US Geological Survey (USGS) introduced that the epicenter of the earthquake, which occurred at a depth of 21.8 kilometers, was 167 kilometers west of the town of Pariaman.

No tsunami warning was issued after the earthquake, which didn’t trigger any lack of life.
