In a written assertion made by the Burkina Faso military, it was acknowledged that since 10 June, joint army operations have been carried out on the borders of the 2 nations.
100 TERRORISTS COVERED
It has been recorded that 100 terrorists have been captured to date within the operation named “Taanli”, which suggests “unity” within the Gurma language spoken by the native individuals.
It was emphasised that many gear and ammunition belonging to terrorists have been additionally seized in the course of the operations.
