77 people have been taken hostage by the priest on the bottom ground of a church in Valentino, Ondo state, Nigeria.
All of the hostages have been rescued
Because of the alarm given by the residents of the neighborhood, 77 people, together with 23 youngsters, have been rescued.
Funmilayo Odunlami, Public Relations Officer of Ondo Police, stated in a press release that the priest was detained and an investigation was launched into the incident.
