YPG/PKK detains civilians who opposed the tunnels in Raqqa


The terrorist group’s stress on the individuals in Raqqa, Syria, continues.

The terrorist group YPG/PKK’s digging of tunnels in the civilian settlements it occupied drew public outcry.

{People} opposed digging tunnels

Civilians who opposed digging a tunnel in Mahlat village of Raqqa had been detained by terrorists.

Mahlat residents of Ayn Isa city in the northern countryside of Raqqa, occupied by YPG/PKK terrorists east of the Euphrates, opposed digging a tunnel in their village.

13 civilians detained

Based on the information of AA, the members of the terrorist group, which raided the village, detained 13 civilians, 2 of whom had been kids.

Terrorists’ soiled plan

The YPG/PKK is digging tunnels in the areas it occupies, particularly in areas near the Turkey-Syria border line, for the function of resisting army operations, infiltration and sudden assaults.
