World’s largest canvas painting sold for  million


The painting, which entered the Guinness E-book of Information because the world’s largest canvas painting and was drawn by Sasha Jafri, was bought by French citizen Andre Abdoune for $62 million (493 million 513 thousand TL) at an public sale in Dubai, UAE.

Spanning 1580 sq. meters, the dimensions of 6 tennis courts ‘The Journey of Mankind’ The 70 items that make up the painting, referred to as the painting, have been accomplished in 7 months.

WILL BE DONATE TO CHARITY

It was acknowledged that the proceeds from the sale of the painting shall be donated to Dubai Cares, UNICEF, UNESCO and World Present Basis charities.

Andre Abdoune, CEO of Altius Gestion Worldwide Holding, the brand new proprietor of the work, “As a baby, I had nothing to eat. All my life I aimed to assist youngsters.” stated.
