Who is Timuçin Esen? – Biography
Timuçin Esen was born on 14 August 1973 as the first child of the family in Adana. Esen, whose family is originally from Niğde, is a graduate of TED Ankara College. He studied at Ankara University State Conservatory Theater Department for two years. He then completed the Theater Department at Istanbul Mimar Sinan University with his dream of acting. However, the successful actress, who was not satisfied with these trainings, received theater training in Italy and America. He received a master’s degree in cinema and directing for 7 years at the Colifornia Instute of the Arts Universty in Los Angeles. He is also one of the students of the famous acting coach Larry Moss in America.
Acting career
His first cinema experience started with shooting a short film named Çıkmaz Sokak while he was a student. This film, which is about the suburbs, is documentary-heavy and the film starred Olgun Şimşek and Engin Günaydın. 2003 production to return to Turkey with Foreign Land Rights Network began with a woman named array of characters. Esen, who attracted attention with her acting here, starred in the movie Gönül Yarası in 2005 starring Meltem Cumbul and Şener Şen. In the movie, he gave life to the character of Halil in love with his eyes. Thanks to this character and acting in the film, he was awarded the Best Assistant at the 42nd Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival and SİYAD (Association of Cinematographers). He was awarded the Actor Award.
The actor, who returned to the serial industry after this film, received the admiration of the audience with the character of Çınar, an idealistic cop, in the 2005 production Thief Police series.
Esen, who appeared before the camera again with Meltem Cumbul in 2011, gave life to an intelligence man named Fikret in the movie Labyrinth, directed by Tolga Örnek. With this successful role, the artist received the Ayhan Işık Special Award at the 17th Sadri Alışık Cinema and Theater Actor Awards. He was also nominated for Best Foreign Language Actor at the Madrid International Film Festival with this film.
The last series on television screens is the Faryalı character in the Bodrum Masalı series, which was broadcast on Kanal D screens.
Timuçin Esen also has two albums named Mayhoş and Kapalıçarşı, which he released in 2011.
