There are three different types of prosthetic nail.

2. Gel nail: In this method, a gel is applied to the nail and it is shaped by drying and retouching. This method is the most permanent and natural method.
3. Dippig nail: The difference between this method similar to acrylic nail is that this method is matte and odorless.
The stages of the prosthetic nail attachment are as follows.
1. First of all, special protective substances are applied to the nail.
2. A prosthetic nail suitable for the nail shape is placed on the tip of the nails and adhered. It is shaped according to the person’s own nail shape or request.
3. In order for the pasted nail to remain natural, it is filed to the same level with the person’s own nail.
4. After the rasping process is completed, the other parts of the nail are covered with a special nail gel according to the type of prosthetic nail desired by the person.
5. Finally, the surface of the nail is filed and polished.
Prosthetic nail can be removed at any time. For this, it is necessary to get help from beauty centers where the prosthetic nail is made. Removing it with the wrong method can damage the nails. Because prosthetic nails are removed with special liquids.
Prosthetic nails can be renewed at desired intervals. As the nail grows, the nail coming from the lower part can be covered with a special prosthetic nail gel again.
In order to use the prosthetic nail for a longer time, it should be prevented from contacting with chemicals. When removing nail polish, nail polish removers without acetone should be preferred.
