Whereas the financial ambiance in Lebanon is getting worse day-to-day, a brand new step has been taken to guard the Lebanese lira, which has depreciated in opposition to the dollar.

The Lebanese State Advisory Council has instructed banks not to provide Lebanese liras to individuals’s dollar accounts.

Angered by the failure of the dollar-issuing banks to problem Lebanese money, the individuals shaped queues in entrance of the banks in the capital, Beirut.
