SpaceX Crew Dragon Docks to Space Station, Hatches Open Soon

NASA Astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, Shannon Walker and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) Astronaut Soichi Noguchi arrived at the International Space Station on Monday SpaceX Crew Dragon Resilience docked at 11:01 p.m. EST via Idaho.

After connecting Crew Dragon to the Harmony module, the astronauts aboard the Resilience and the space station begin performing standard leak tests and pressurizations between the spacecraft to prepare for the hatch to open at 1:10 a.m.

Hopkins, Glover, Walker and Noguchi will join the Expedition 64 crew of Commander Sergey Ryzhikov and flight engineer Sergey Kud-Sverchkov, both from the Russian space agency Roscosmos, and flight engineer Kate Rubins from NASA.

NASA Television and the agency’s website continue to provide continuous live coverage of the agency’s SpaceX Crew-1 mission.
