Expedition 64 flight engineers, Kate Rubins, Mike Hopkins, Victor Glover and Shannon Walker from NASA and Soichi Noguchi of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) discussed the importance of spending Thanksgiving in orbit and their vacation plans during the downlink news delivered on November 20, 2020.
Rubins has been aboard the orbital complex since its launch on a Russian Soyuz spacecraft in mid-October and was accompanied a month later by Hopkins, Glover, Walker and Noguchi, who took off from the orbital facility SpaceX Crew Dragon “Resilience” from the Kennedy Space Center.
