Ship sank off Tunisia: Migrants drowned

The ship with greater than 90 passengers, which left the Libyan port of Zuwara on Sunday, sank for an unknown purpose off Tunisia.

Tunisian Crimson Crescent said that no less than 57 folks drowned on account of the sinking of the ship with many immigrants.


In line with the information of AFP, the Tunisian Ministry of Protection reported that 33 folks have been rescued. Mohamed Zikri, spokesman for the Ministry of Protection, mentioned the survivors have been holding onto an oil rig.
