Samsung vice president Jay Y. Lee sentenced to 2.5 years in prison

Jay Y. Lee, vice president of South Korea-based expertise firm Samsung, He was accused of bribing bureaucrats with 16 million euros.

Lee was sentenced to 5 years in prison in 2017, after which his sentence was shortened and suspended after he denied the fees.

The choice was made in the courtroom of Lee, who was born in the US state of Washington and has held varied positions at Samsung since 1991.
