The ceasefire and peace talks of the delegations of Russia and Ukraine proceed in Turkey.
Spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of International Affairs Mariya Zakharova praised the efforts of Turkey, which hosted the negotiations, and used the following expressions:
“TURKEY HAS A MORE BALANCED AND INDEPENDENT POSITION”
“Turkey has taken a more balanced and impartial place in comparison with other countries. This Russophobic marketing campaign was capable of take up neither the Turkish authorities nor the individuals as an entire. For these causes, together with Ankara’s balanced line, we accepted Turkey’s supply to contribute to the negotiations with the Ukrainian facet. We’re grateful to Turkey for its mediation efforts, particularly the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations and efforts to resolve the scenario in precept.”
“TURKEY KEEPS THE STRAIT AND AIRSPACE OPEN”
Stating that Turkey doesn’t take part in the sanctions imposed by the USA and the European Union (EU) towards Russia and takes choices in line with the norms of worldwide regulation, together with the straits subject, Zaharova stated, “Turkey retains its airspace open for Russian ships and Russian planes” used the phrases.
