The perspective of Josep Borrell, the Excessive Representative of the EU for Overseas Relations and Safety Coverage, who held talks with President Ersin Tatar and the chief of the Greek Cypriot administration Nikos Anastasiadis in Cyprus, in direction of the Turkish Cypriot facet, drew a response.
In line with the knowledge he obtained from diplomatic sources, Borrell requested that the Turkish and TRNC flags and Atatürk portray be eliminated from the Presidential Palace with the intention to meet with the TRNC President Tatar.
ERSIN TATAR REACTED STRONG
TRNC President Ersin Tatar reacted harshly to the incident and conveyed to Borrell that the circumstances would by no means be accepted.
So Borrell, who didn’t need to trigger a disaster, went to the TRNC and met with Tatar.
Borrell’s totally different perspective in his social media accounts about Tatar and Anastasiadis drew consideration.
Explaining that he had a very good meeting with the Greek Cypriot chief, Borrell solely said that they’d a meeting with the Tatar.
