US President Joe Biden signed a brand new decree changing his predecessor Donald Trump’s decrees focusing on China-based TikTok and WeChat functions.
Within the new decree, Biden requested the related US establishments whether or not software program and functions developed by overseas rival states pose a threat to the nationwide safety of the USA. “evidence-based” ordered evaluation.

In 2020, Trump signed a decree to ban functions known as TikTok and WeChat within the USA on the grounds that they’re a risk to the nationwide safety of the USA.
