The embassy shared the next statements:
“Turkey, an ally of the US and a member of NATO, responded to our name for assist early within the fight against Covid-19 by offering private protecting tools. We at the moment are proud to reply to this gesture by responding to Turkey’s request and supporting its efforts to suppress forest fires. Performing by the US European Command and in partnership with the Authorities of the Republic of Turkey, the US has initiated the method of sending two CH-47 ‘Chinook’ kind firefighting helicopters to help Turkey in combating forest fires.
