With the settlement signed in Athens between Greek Protection Minister Nikos Panayotopoulos and French Protection Minister Florence Parly, Greece has formalized the acquisition of frigates and 6 Rafale from France.
NUMBER OF RAFALE COMBATIVERS WILL INCREASED FROM 18 TO 24
In his speech on the Worldwide Thessaloniki Honest in September 2021, Greek Prime Minister Kiryakos Mitsotakis introduced that the variety of Rafale sort warplanes to be procured from France could be elevated from 18 to 24.
French President Emmanuel Macron introduced that Greece would buy three new frigates from France as a part of the brand new protection settlement value 5 billion euros signed with Greece in September 2021.

Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis additionally informed reporters, “This may bind us for years” he stated.
After France and Greece signed a protection settlement, the primary supply of warplanes ordered by Greece in France was made in January 2022.
