French astronaut shared a view of the Suez Canal from space


European Space Company (ESA) astronaut, French-born Thomas Pesquet, shared a giant collage of 100 high-resolution Suez Canal images taken from the ISS.

Pesquet mentioned that the depth throughout the interval when the canal was blocked can be understood from the visuals.

“HIGHEST POSSIBLE ZOOM”

In the message he shared with the picture, Pesquet mentioned, “The Suez Canal was accomplished, assembled from 100 images at the highest potential zoom. Sure, you’ll be able to see Evergiven (moored to the facet) on this collage!” used the phrases.

EVERGIVEN’S LANDING

The freighter Evergiven ran aground on March 24 and created lengthy queues of ships, blocking the canal site visitors.
