An explosion occurred at the Balongan Oil Refinery in Indonesia’s Indramayu area. After the explosion, a fireplace broke out within the refinery.

Whereas the reason for the explosion shouldn’t be but identified, it was reported that the individuals dwelling close to the refinery have been evacuated.

20 PEOPLE INJURED

In keeping with the report of the Republika newspaper, the authorities acknowledged that 20 individuals have been injured, 5 of them significantly, within the explosion at the Balongan Oil Refinery of the state-owned oil firm Pertamina.

The refinery is understood to be owned by the Indonesian state-controlled Pertamina firm.

Within the information within the native press, it was shared that the explosion was heard from kilometers away and home windows have been damaged within the homes near the area.
