21 prisoners escaped from the jail in the town of Musenna in southern Iraq through the evening.
It was reported that the escaped prisoners had been in jail for terrorism and drug trafficking crimes, amongst them members of the terrorist group DAESH.
18 Caught
It was reported that 18 of the escaped prisoners had been captured by the safety forces as half of the operation launched in the early hours of the morning to neutralize the safety forces and seize the escaped prisoners.
It has been introduced that the operation continues to catch 3 fugitives.
