China’s Mars rover Zhurong accomplished its journey to Mars at 07:18 Beijing time.
Chinese language state media introduced that the rover had efficiently landed on Utopia Planitia, an enormous expanse of land within the north of the planet.
TAKES 17 MINUTES
It was said that it took 17 minutes to open the panels of Zhurong, which can perform the exploration and analysis mission on the floor of Mars, and to ship a sign to the Earth.
“WE ARE FULFILLING EXCELLENCE”
Chinese language President Xi Jinping congratulated the group’s success and mentioned:
“You have been courageous sufficient, you pursued excellence, and also you took our nation to the forefront of planetary exploration.”
With the Zhurong probe reaching Mars, China turned the second nation to land on Mars after the USA.
Zhurong, which means the god of fireplace and warfare in Chinese language mythology, reached Mars in February with the Tianwen-1 spacecraft.
