The air forces of each nations carried out joint air patrols over the Sea of Japan, the East China Sea, and the Western Pacific.
The exercise attracts consideration as it’s the first exercise with China since Russia’s assaults on Ukraine.
Notable exercise in Asia
In an announcement from Beijing, it was acknowledged that the patrol was a part of the annual military exercise.
In accordance with Reuters, the 2 nations had beforehand held such patrols within the second half of 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Beijing’s stance on Ukraine assaults
Russia confronted sanctions by Western nations for the assaults it launched in opposition to Ukraine on February 24, which it known as a “particular military operation”.
China, which doesn’t condemn the assaults on Ukraine, requires a “negotiated answer”.
