As the campers sat in their tents, white smoke started to rise from the reverse facet of Kapuche Glacier Lake.
Realizing that the avalanche had fallen, the campers started to report the occasion, miles away, with their cameras.

When the white smoke, which they watched from afar for some time, reached the campsite, the campers started to flee.
Reacting to the incident by shouting, the campers needed to depart their tents behind and depart the space.
