Flooding occurred after heavy rains in the Higher Kohistan area of Pakistan.
The non permanent bridge fabricated from prefabricated metal over the Karakoram freeway in the Dasu area of Higher Kohistan was additionally dislodged and swept away by the flood waters.

Pakistani Minister of Local weather Change Sherry Rehman confirmed that the bridge was broken by flood waters, “The Karakoram freeway has been closed to visitors on each side. No bus is allowed on Babusar street for now. All safety items in the world should be on the alert. The bridge was not sturdy.” mentioned.
