Main Mahmud al-Werfalli, who was affiliated with the putschist Basic Haftar and needed by the Worldwide Criminal Court docket (ICC) for war crimes, was assassinated close to the Arab Medical College in Benghazi, Libya.
HE WAS THE COMMANDER OF AN ELITE UNIT
It was reported that an armed assassination was carried out whereas Werfalli was in the automobile along with his two bodyguards. Werfalli was identified to be the commander of an elite unit in Haftar’s Libyan Nationwide Military (LNA).
DUE TO KILLING MORE THAN 40 PEOPLE, APPROACH ORDER WAS ISSUED
The Worldwide Criminal Court docket (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands, had issued an arrest warrant for Werfalli for killing greater than 40 folks, together with an incident in 2018 when images emerged exhibiting him executing 10 detainees.
