Often known as the one panorama painting by former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill throughout WWII “Tower of the Koutoubia Mosque” (Kutubiyye Mosque Minaret), “Jolie Household Assortment” Bought to an unnamed individual for £8.3 million.
The painting, which Churchill offered as a present to former US President Franklin D. Rooselvelt, displays the sundown in Marrakech, Morocco, on the canvas in heat tones.
BRAD PITT GIVES A GIFT
Churchill’s painting on his first go to to Morocco in 1935 had beforehand been purchased for £1.5 million. Jolie’s ex-wife Brad Pitt gifted the painting to the actress in 2011.
