The financial and political disaster in Lebanon is deepening.

Saad Hariri, who was tasked with forming the government on October 22 final yr, offered his cupboard consisting of 24 technocrats to President Michel Aoun yesterday, and immediately introduced that he would resign from workplace and would not kind the government.

Hariri’s assertion was met with public response. People took to the streets in many cities, particularly the capital Beirut.

The Lebanese lira fell sharply after Hariri’s assertion.

The safety forces intervened by firing tear gasoline and fireplace into the air to suppress the protests.

Many people have been injured in the incidents.
