2 women carrying 109 live animals in their suitcases in Thailand, caught


Two women, who had been discovered to have live animals in their suitcases, had been detained on Tuesday whereas they had been going via X-ray at Suvarnabhumi Airport in the capital of Thailand, Bangkok.

2 hedgehogs, 2 armadillos, 35 turtles, 50 chameleons and 20 snakes had been discovered in the suitcases.

Authorities reported that they discovered 2 white hedgehogs, 2 armadillos, 35 turtles, 50 chameleons and 20 snakes in the suitcase, whereas two women had been arrested immediately for violating the Thailand Wildlife Safety Legislation, Customs Legislation and Animal Epidemic Legislation.

It was discovered that they went to India.

It was introduced that these carrying 109 livestock in their suitcases had been 38-year-old Nithya Raja and 24-year-old Zakia Sulthana Ebrahim, who went from Bangkok to Chennai, India.

Then again, in 2019, a 1-month-old leopard cub was discovered in the trunk of a person who went from Bangkok to Chennai, India, and the individual was later detained.
