100 million doses of coronavirus vaccine from BioNTech and Pfizer to EU

The European Union (EU) continues to provide the coronavirus vaccine.

It has been reported that the EU has bought one other 100 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine developed by the American pharmaceutical firm Pfizer and the German biotechnology firm BioNTech.


Within the assertion made by Pfizer and BioNTech, it was acknowledged that 100 million doses of vaccine can be equipped to the EU, on prime of the five hundred million doses agreed upon with the earlier settlement.

Thus, the entire quantity of doses will attain 600 million. Within the assertion, it was famous that 100 million doses of vaccine are anticipated to be distributed in 2021.


It was acknowledged that the choice to buy an extra 100 million doses is a component of the settlement signed by the 27-nation EU with Pfizer and BioNTech in February.
